Village
of Royal Palm Beach
Royal Palm Beach is an incorporated village within Palm Beach County's
Western Communities. It is governed by a Mayor and a City Council and
provides municipal and utility services for its residents. A great diversity
of housing opportunities are available in the Village of Royal Palm Beach,
a thriving municipality since 1959. There's something for everyone, from
young families to active retirees, in the Village's many neighborhoods.
Totally maintained condominium communities feature recreational activities
for active residents. Many single family homes, from first-time to deluxe,
make up the Village's active neighborhoods.
The
Acreage
The Acreage, located just north of the Village limits, consists of one
and a quarter plus homesites with both paved and unpaved roads, This area
is home to those who value open spaces, and the convenience of city living.
35,000 residents now live in The Acreage.
Home of
one of Florida's most highly rated elementary schools. Two middle schools
also serve the communities and a new high school just opened in Royal
Palm Beach in 1997. Major shopping centers, supermarkets and restaurants
are placed throughout the Village.
Parks, a
cultural center, a recreation center and other municipal recreational
facilities exclusively for Village residents. Supervised youth baseball
and soccer programs. Served by two local hospitals. Country clubs for
golf, tennis and swimming.
Village
of Wellington
A planned community of over 18,000 acres, Wellington offers neighborhoods
in all price ranges. From condominiums, town homes and villas, to single
family residences and estate homes, almost anyone can find their "dream".
Wellington offers bike paths, jogging trails, neighborhood parks and recreation
areas, a centerpiece lake, along with a number of renowed golf courses
and country clubs. Incorporated as a Village in 1995, Wellington became
the 7th largest city in Palm Beach County. Over 30,000 people (34,000
in the winter season) are currently enjoying the kind of lifestyle most
people only dream about. When the entire community is completed, a maximum
population of 60,000 is expected.

elementary schools, a middle school and high school are in operation.
A Boy's and Girl's Club sponsored by the Boy's Clubs of America. Supervised
youth baseball, soccer, softball, football, and swimming programs. Civic
and social organizations for every interest. Houses of worship for all
the major denominations. Two major hospitals serve the Western Communities.
Excellent shopping and lots of restaurants. Palm Beach Polo and Country
Club and the internationally known Stadium Jumping is located here, featuring
a full winter polo season and world class equestrian competitions and
events.
Loxahatchee
This countryside residential area, known locally as the last frontier,
is home to those who prefer wide open spaces with a "Home in the
Country" feeling. Homesites range from a quarter acre to ten plus
acres, so there's plenty of room for nature lovers, horse and cattle grazing,
nursery growers and quiet uncongested living. With many of the side roads
primarily unpaved, traffic stays on main thoroughfares. Single family
homes are available in a great variety of price ranges. The lifestyle
is unstructured and fits the tastes of those who love the country life.
